Running under Red Traffic Light: 

While the region is in the Red Traffic light level, we will need to make several changes to the way we manage the track. 

Kartsport Manawatu Club days , Practice days and all other Kartsport NZ hosted events at our track will be run in accordance with Kartsport NZ Covid 19 Protection Framework (CPF). 

One of the main points to the system is ensuring we know who is at the track and when at all times. Although we do have a log of people accessing through the gate, its essential we have a record of all the others that may come with you to enjoy the kart track. It is your responsibility to register them. The register is in the metal cabinet outside the stewards door.

Under Red Traffic Light, Vaccine Passes are required to use the track at all times.

Practice Days:  

The track is open to practice. To practice at the track, we ask that you now use the new Sporty Practice form that can be found on the website and the Sporty App. Every person attending must fill out a form. The sporty form will have the facility to upload your vaccine pass with your practice form. 

When you scan your Vaccine Pass QR code, Sporty then makes a live call on the MoH system to verify the pass. The verification response from the MoH system returns to Sporty the person's name, DoB and expiry date of their pass. These details are recorded along with the verified status on the person's registration record. Sporty does not need to store a copy of the Vaccine Pass itself.

We are classed as a gathering this limits us to groups of 100. 

Everyone 12 years and 3 months must be able to show a vaccine pass. 

Please ensure you maintain the social distancing as per  government guide lines at all times. 

Club Days: 

Club days will run under the Kartsport NZ Covid 19 Protection Framework (CPF). 

We are classed as a gathering, this limits us to groups of 100. All groups must have a 2m separation. 

Everyone 12 years and 3 months must be able to show a vaccine pass. These will be checked as you enter the track. 

Please ensure you maintain the social distancing as per  government guide lines at all times. 

Facemasks will be required in the club house.

Due to the expected numbers we will be limiting the entries to driver plus 1.
